With the large numbers of traumatized children in our school system, there is a need to take a renewed look at how we are meeting the needs of these deserving students. This article discusses briefly the effects of trauma on a child’s ability to learn and recommends strategies to tailor educational experiences for how these children best learn. (8 pages)
